Born in Chhattisgarh. Built on trust.
We're a small team on a simple mission — to bring real Indian food back to Indian kitchens. Cold-milled, cold-pressed, hand-sorted, and sourced from farmers we know by name.
We were farmers first.
Before Krishiyug was a brand, it was a harvest sitting in our own fields — naturally grown, honestly raised, and waiting for a buyer who understood what it was worth.
We knew how to grow the real thing — our families had done it for generations. What we couldn't find were customers: people who understood the value of naturally grown, chemical-free food, and were willing to pay what it honestly costs.
Then we started talking to farmers around us — and heard our own story, again and again. Good harvests. No fair market. The same quiet defeat, village after village.
It began in our own fields
Naturally grown grain, raised the way our grandparents raised it. The growing came easy.
The market didn't see the value
We struggled to find buyers who understood real food — and would pay fairly for it.
We weren't alone
Farmer after farmer told us the same story. The problem wasn't the farming. It was the bridge to the people.
So we built Krishiyug — together
In 2020, we created that bridge ourselves. Not just for farmers — with them. Thousands now grow with us across Chhattisgarh.
Two problems. One bridge.
Farmers couldn't find people who valued real food. Families couldn't find real food they could trust. Krishiyug exists to close that gap — connecting honest fields directly to honest kitchens, with nothing hidden in between.
What we're fixing.
- Oils stripped by chemical refining
- Millets polished into shine
- Rice sprayed with artificial fragrance
- Jaggery brightened with chemical clarifiers
It all looks beautiful on the shelf. It all falls short on your plate.
Four things we won't compromise on.
We know our farmers by name.
Every product is sourced directly from verified farmer partners across Chhattisgarh — including GI-tagged regions like Sarguja and Dhamtari. No middlemen. No mystery origins.
We process the traditional way.
Cold-milling at low RPM. Wood-pressed oils. Iron-pan jaggery clarified naturally with okra — never chemicals. Slower and costlier, but the food keeps its natural goodness.
We keep chemicals out. Full stop.
No artificial fragrances in our rice. No chemical clarifiers in our sweeteners. No solvents in our oils. What goes in is what nature put there.
We support rural livelihoods.
Every purchase flows back to real farming families, tribal communities, and women-led rural enterprises. Good food should support good lives — ours does.
Trust you don't have to take on faith.
We didn't set out to win awards — but the work has been seen. From national innovation platforms to state honours and agricultural universities.

Our mission
To make honest, chemical-free, traditionally-processed food the easy choice for every Indian family — while ensuring the farmers who grow it are paid, respected, and proud.
Our vision
A future where India's kitchens are full of real food again — and the farmers behind it are no longer invisible.
Honesty over hype
If we wouldn't feed it to our own children, we won't sell it to yours.
Tradition over shortcuts
We choose the slower, harder, better way every time.
Farmers as partners
Not suppliers. Not statistics. Partners.
Transparency by default
Every claim we make, we can prove.
What every Krishiyug order does.
Your family gets
- Food with its natural goodness intact — not stripped by industrial processing
- Authentic taste and aroma — the way Indian food is supposed to be
- Traceability — you'll always know which region, often which farmer
- No hidden chemicals — no solvents, bleaches, polishers, or additives
- The peace of mind of food you can actually trust
And you give back
- Fair income to a small Indian farmer who grew your food
- Support for natural farming that protects our soil for the next generation
- Empowerment for women-led rural enterprises and tribal communities
Try one product. That's all we ask.
You don't need to overhaul your kitchen overnight. Start with one thing — a packet of cold-milled atta, a bottle of cold-pressed mustard oil, a pouch of unpolished moong. Open it. Smell it. Taste it.
If it doesn't taste like the real thing, you'll know within the first bite. And if it does — welcome home.
